About

My name is Bianka and I have been a graphic designer since I graduated high school at the age of 17. I started my first job with a small signage company in Georgia called Beck Custom POP learning production while I went to school for my BFA in graphic design at The University of Georgia.

I also juggled part-time graphic design jobs at the University and for a photo studio, Portraits by Wendy. In 2012 I decided to move to California where I took a full-time position with MegaBrands (owned by Mattel Inc). I worked with MegaBrands for almost 4 years working with brand and package design for the umbrella brands RoseArt, BoardDudes, WriteDudes, and LeapFrog licensed activity books.

After Mattel I shortly worked as a Senior Designer at a stationary company, U Brands. I strongly believe in their design values and practices "deliver innovative and creative designs with great quality and value." - www.ubrands.com

Now I am a contract graphic designer for Pokémon International in Bellevue, Washington.

HELLO.

Welcome to my website!

I have always had passion for the arts and have practiced graphic design since I was a teen. I started my first job with a small signage company in Atlanta, Georgia called Beck Custom POP. During this time, I delved into the world of production while I attended the University of Georgia to obtain my BFA in Graphic Design. Additionally, I juggled part-time freelance graphic design work at UGA, and worked for a photo studio, Portraits by Wendy where I learned a lot about visual photography.

In 2012 I made the move to California where I accepted a full-time position with MegaBrands (now Mattel Inc). I worked here for 5 years on the brand and package design team for the Umbrella Brands, RoseArt, BoardDudes, WriteDudes, and LeapFrog licensed activity books.

After Mattel I had a short stint as a Senior Designer at a stationary company, U Brands. While there, I fell in love with their modern simplicity. I strongly believe in their design values and practices "deliver innovative and creative designs with great quality and value."

Currently I am Senior Graphic Designer for The Pokémon Company International in Bellevue, Washington, where I have worked for over 4 years. I work for the Creative Services team, focusing on all things PokemonCenter.com. I customize and design collections that include apparel, home decor, figures, accessories, co-branded products and much more. I also lead the team in the production processes for both products and packaging. Check out PokemonCenter.com to see some of my featured work.

 Artistically yours,

Bianka
